Yemeni military announced on Tuesday the killing and wounding of members of the "Houthis" in clashes in the province of Hajja, northwestern Yemen.
"The Houthis launched a fierce attack on the forces east of Hiran district (northwest of Hajjah)," the media center of the army's fifth military zone said on its official Facebook page.
"Houthis have been killed and wounded and various weapons recovered while repelling their attack," he said.
On August 16, government forces seized control of the Hiran district in Hajjah after fighting left Houthis dead and wounded, according to the Yemeni army.
On the other hand, according to the channel "march" spokesperson for the Houthis, that the artillery shelled army gatherings west of a triangle in the Haradh district northwest of Hajjah, causing a number of dead and wounded among his forces.
She pointed out that the Houthis launched similar artillery shelling on Yemeni military gatherings east of Jabal al-Nar in Haradh district, opposite the Jizan sector in southwest Saudi Arabia.
