Why should not the dough be tasted before it is baked?

Experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have revealed the risk of eating raw dough before baking.

"Say no to the raw dough," the CDC said in a tweet on Twitter. "The dough and the uncooked mixture can cause food poisoning."

On its Web site, the CDC spoke in greater detail about this warning, which focuses on the bacteria found in the flour, as well as eggs.

"Flour is a raw agricultural product, which means it has not been treated to kill germs such as E. coli," said the detailed explanation: "The harmful bacteria can contaminate the grains while remaining in the field, or during the subsequent steps when the flour is produced. Flour food, which is why you should never taste or eat raw pasta. "

Fresh eggs can get you sick, which can contain salmonella, which kills when cooked.

The concern with consumption of these bacteria is their ability to cause some symptoms of food poisoning, including stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting.

Based on these findings, CDC urges people to be careful about the raw foods they consume.

"Do not taste or eat any raw paste, any biscuit mixture or raw flour muffins," added the CDC.
