Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde appeared at a news conference to discuss his side's face against Ibar in the 19th round of Liga.
"Ibar is a team that has a very clear identity, they are distinguished with coach Mindbella in a very convincing way, they play a risk and that's what we have to take advantage of," the Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo said.
Valverde spoke about the position of Brazilian player Philippe Coutinho, who has been rumored about his departure for not being a key contender (see details).
"In the last standings we did not perform well," he said. "Coutinho has made great matches with us and we hope he will continue to do so, and I focus more on what he does well."
"Coutinho and Dembaili can play together, and they're doing it recently, but I'm trying to keep the balance between the defense and the attack," Valverde continued.
"Young players have to be patient. Sometimes an 18-year-old can reach the first team, because he is performing amazingly, but naturally a 21 or 22-year-old will reach the first team, such as Sergei Roberto and Annista and others," said Valverde. Bilbao some climbed to the first team, others left. "
"The market is open and the club has to adapt to everything," he said. "I'm working on solutions with the players I have, and also from the youth of the reserve."
