Real Madrid coach Jesús Vallejo has praised Argentine coach Santiago Solari for his team's victory over Melilla in the King's Cup.
The Royal Club had already qualified for the knockout stage after beating Mellia 6-0 in the first leg of the match.
"I am happy with my participation with Real Madrid. The first goal gave us a lot of confidence. The coach asked us to come out and press them hard," Vallejo said in comments published by the Spanish daily Divenza Central.
"It is important that we are all ready. We played well against a team with very good players. We pressed them intensively and we managed to score."
He continued: "We play well with Solari, performance has become better, offensive team is good, we must continue to improve."
"We are waiting for three very important matches, before the Club World Cup, we will try to win them, to go to the World Cup with confidence, to return to Madrid Cup."
