The human brain experiences a huge amount of information daily around us, from the internet, television, street and work. It is no wonder that you forget too much and too much, so you lose too much of your memory. If you feel too forgetful, To improve your memory, there are simple means to help you achieve your goal.
1. Ten minute exercises: A recent study published by the National Academy of Sciences in the United States showed that the exercise of 10 minutes of light physical exercise is sufficient to improve the performance of brain activities associated with memory upgrading.
This study adds to many of the evidence linking physical exercise and human capacity development to remembering events in the past. Sandra Chapman, director of the Center for Brain Health at the University of Texas, said the study showed a significant improvement in human memory in the event of physical exercise for 50 minutes a week, divided three times.
2. Few breaks: A study published in 2018 found that people who had limited periods of rest after a strong mental activity. She explained that people who participated in a 10-minute meditation session outside of the place where they saw the photographs, their results were better in the memory tests, than those who engaged in mental activities after viewing images.
Columbia University professor of psychology, Laila Davachi, says the brain continues to process past experiences in the post-learning break, in other words, "meditation is a practice to exercise mind without bothering."
Davacchi did not participate in the study, but conducted studies that concluded that the short rest period helps to get a better memory, even a few seconds, while the mind does not have more information will have the space to save more information.
3. Concerned with many things at once: A study conducted in 2017 by Stanford University found that those who spend a lot of time in multimedia simultaneously, such as surfing the internet and listening to music, tend to achieve less results than others in memory-based exams.
4. Mental meditation exercises: A study published in 2013 found that students who participated in a two-week mental meditation exercise performed well on memory-based tests and showed greater ability to overcome the distracted things. The author of the study, a researcher at the University of California, Michael Marzik, it does not require much effort, may be enough for 8 minutes of mental reflection to make a significant change.
