"Samsung" accused of deceiving users!

South Korea's Samsung is facing new lawsuits for misleading users during the promotion of its smartphones.

According to available information, Australia's competition regulator sued Samsung Electronics for misleading users while promoting the Galaxy phones.

"In many of the Galaxy phone ads, Samsung has shown that these phones can be used underwater or in the sea without being affected, but the reality has confirmed the opposite," the prosecution said.

"Samsung, one of the world's largest phone manufacturers, has not tested enough to see the actual effects of water on its phones," said the Consumer and Competition Commission of Australia.

"The Commission says that Samsung's ads have given a false impression that the Galaxy phones can be used under all kinds of water, while that is not the case. Samsung offered the Galaxy phones and is used in cases where they should not be, to attract consumers, we believe That Samsung's ads deprived consumers of choice based on information and gave the company an unfair competitive advantage. "

If it turns out that Samsung is guilty of the cases against it in Australia, it is expected to be fined up to $ 7 million.
