After the successful success of the Snapdragon 855 processors, Qualcomm decided to launch a modified version of these processors to increase the capabilities of handsets and electronic devices.

According to experts at Qualcomm, the new Snapdragon 855 will not only accelerate the speed of phones and electronic devices, but also help them better deal with enhanced and virtual reality technologies and accelerate their ability to preview data, images and videos with artificial intelligence technologies.

The processor is based on the previous model from Snapdragon that its Kryo 485 chip operates at 2.96 GHz instead of 2.84 GHz, and the Adreno 640 processors will be able to work with it 15% faster.

The processor can handle the latest modem Snapdragon X50, which will provide smartphones the ability to work with the networks of the fifth generation of the Internet.

It is expected to be launched in the second half of this year, and the first device to be used is expected to be ROG Phone II, which will be launched by "Asus" for gamers.
