The European Football Federation (UEFA) on Friday made a formal decision against Liverpool player Diane Lovrin.
UEFA decided to stop the Croatian defender with only one match in the UEFA Champions League.
The decision comes after Lufrin's offensive remarks against Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Ramos after Croatia and Spain face the United Nations.
The two teams face on Nov. 15 and Croatia won 3-1.
Lofrin attacked Ramos during the match, and was insulted by his personal account at the Instagram site.
