Liverpool midfielder Fabienio has revealed the interest of Paris Saint-Germain to get his services before moving to the English club.
The Brazilian joined the Reds from Monaco in the summer of 2017.
According to previous press reports, Saint-Germain was one of the clubs interested in signing Fabenio.
"I was very close to signing for Paris Saint-Germain, it was in the summer of last year," Fabiniu told France's L'Equipe.
"Saint-Germain was very interested in me, I talked a lot with the sports director of the club and the management of the Paris club as well, but that deal did not work in the end."
"The next year I decided not to wait for St. Germain, and I decided to leave France, and I'm here now, in Liverpool."
