Zamalek striker Bassem Morsi said Petrojet was not the intended club in his comments on the team he requested to be included in the current transfer window.
Hamada Anwar, director of football at Petrojet, said he had closed the contract with Zamalek striker after the latter's statements that he would not move to the last team in the league.
"Only for clarification … Petrojet is the first club to play in the Premier League," said Bassem Morsi during a tweet on the social networking site Twitter.
"I have a very good relationship with the officials of the club, the players, Captain Moumen Sleiman and Captain Hamada Anwar, who is not the intended club."
"I wish the Petrojet team had a good time," concluded Basem.
